The Challenge

When we first connected with the team at Nirvana, they made their vision clear: they weren’t just looking for office space – they were looking for a sanctuary. The goal was to find a space near Union Square, with natural light, a calming energy, and the flexibility to create an environment that truly reflected their mission around mental health and human performance.

They referenced the aesthetic of Barnfox upstate-warm textures, thoughtful layout, and space that feels like a retreat. And they wanted to design it hand-in-hand with us.

The Solution

We narrowed our search to the most architecturally unique spaces near Union Square. Ultimately, we landed on a unit with great bones: natural light, high ceilings, and the flexibility for a full custom buildout.

From there, our in-house design and construction teams worked directly with the Nirvana team to co-create the space from scratch. Everything was intentionally chosen-from materials to layout to the sensory experience. The result was a calming, elevated office space that feels less like Midtown and more like Hudson Valley.

Touches like exposed wood, organic tones, cozy breakouts, and soft natural light make it a place employees actually look forward to walking into each day.
